What is the A frame chalkboard made of?
This blackboard pavement sign is made from solid 4cm x 2cm thick wood with fixed MDF back panels. It has a melamine laminate front and steel hinges which add extra stability.
Is the chalkboard sandwich board frame weatherproof?
Yes, the wooden pavement sign is designed to withstand normal weather conditions. However, it may be affected by strong winds or adverse weather conditions. While you can use standard chalk sticks, we recommend using our Liquid Chalk Pens to write on the chalkboard. They will become waterproof after just one hour.
What is the finish on the wood?
Our chalkboard pavement signs have been manufactured with a dark oak finish that will look great in any setting. Due to the natural wood frame material, finishes may vary. Other sizes and finishes are available to manufacture on request. Get in touch with us today to arrange a bespoke quote.
