Why do I need a Steel Base Banner Holder?
This banner base is one of the easiest ways to display a large sign, as you simply slot your banner panel into the steel wedge base. It's a bold and eye-catching, yet simple and cost-effective way to promote your products, services or offers inside of your business. It's also available complete with a rigid printed banner panel so you can get everything you need in a single purchase.
What types of banner does the wedge banner base hold?
We use 10mm rigid white Foamex panels - please keep this in mind if you're supplying your artwork for printing, as the back and edges of your printed board will be white. If you require a replacement Foamex print for your base, you will need to contact us as this is a bespoke item. Our standard 5mm Foamex boards are NOT compatible.
The steel wedge base can hold other rigid materials ranging from 3mm to 40mm thick. The maximum recommended height for your banner is 1.5m tall and will also depend upon the substrate you use in the base.
If you have chosen to add a printed banner to your order, upload the artwork by following the instructions provided via email once you place your order. Alternatively, you can opt to use our handy in-house design service where we can create a finished piece of artwork for you using any image, logos and text you provide us with.
What is the rigid banner stand made of?
The wedge style banner stand manufactured from steel and is powder coated in silver to fit in with your décor. The two panels of the base are held together with a screw at either end. The steel wedge banner base is available in various widths, and all of these sizes have a 35cm depth.
Does my banner have to be the same width as my base?
No, your banner can be wider than the base and will still be supported. If you choose to use your own banners, you will need to drill 8mm diameter holes into them in order for the base to be screwed together. If you choose the base to be supplied with a printed board banner, we will pre-drill the board for you. 85mm of your graphic will also be covered at the bottom by the stand.
